Well it's time to move on.  I have decided to give up the GS in favour of a 2007 BMW F800ST. We bought the BMW with the plan that once I got my license we would both be able to ride it.  Now my husband has bought a BMW R1200R so the F800 is all mine. I bought the GS to learn on and it has been great. I would recommend it to anyone as a learner bike and I have had a lot of fun on it. I was a bit nervous at first taking on the F800, it was like starting all over again. I had become so comfortable on the GS. But the transition has been much easier than I anticipated.

I haven't made that many contributions to this forum, but I've learned a lot from other people's experiences.
See you on the road some time.  :)

Ros, quite a few of us have moved-on or graduated from the GS, some still have one tucked-away somewhere whilst we ride something else, enjoy your beemer but don't forget that this forum is still here and open to all.
Black Beemer  - F800ST.
In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??
