I am parting out my 1993 500e. I have all the parts still.  The engine is in pieces on my work bench. One of the rod bearings burnt up, imagine that, so everything besides the crank and one rod are still in decent shape. The bike has 33k on it and is black.  I read about the scamming sellers that are around here, and want to assure you that I am not one of them.

Your desire to not be taken as a scammer would be enhanced by little details that are useful in looking at larger parts anyway, like where you and the bike are located. I have a toying or two that might be amenable to a titled frame with wheels, etc, but if you're more than 100 miles away, no point in asking because the economics of getting it don't work out.
