She was brought to me with the right cylinder smoking heavily.  Bike failed leak down test.  I split the case, replaced the seals, reinstalled, still smokes heavily on right cylinder.  Going to repeat leak down test in a couple days...still sick and exhaust has aggravated my sinuses.

Are there any other reasons she would smoke heavily on the right side?

Oil Injection? May be pumping too much in.Some of your Injection lines Have Check Valves that Stop the flow of Oil after you shut the engine off.If these Valves go bad then the Oil in the tank Syphons itself into the cylinder/Crank Case. The right Carb could also be running Rich.Check the Right spark plug after a pretty good Ride.

no oil injection.  I'm leaning toward residual oil right now.  I'm going to heat her up good and see if it goes away...

If it does Clear up after a Short blast let it set over night and try it Again. If it starts smoking alot Again it's probably a Seal or the Actual Seal itself between the Crank Case.If you'll check the Center Bearing on the Crank could be fed by the Tranny Oil.Could be a Center Seal in that Case.Haven't worked on a banshee but they couldn't be too far from what I do Work on.

I split the case to replace the seals...I resealed the case with high temp RTV which is apparently advised against but I've sealed cases with it before without an issue.  That may be something...who knows.

Quick question...there's a vac line from the clutch side...I could have sworn I disconnected it from a T fitting above the carbs...one of the other lines goes to the port at the rear of the case and the last vents to open air.  This sound right?

Yeah I won't use RTV. Only 3bond,Yamabond etc. When Installing the seals it doesn't hurt to smear just a Little on the Outer to help Seal and keep them from poping out.Check the Outer Primary gear side to see if that Seal may have Accidentially Popped out from the Compression.I worked on alittle YT125 that had that Problem even with the retainer holding it in.While its running pull the Oil Cap and see if you get Compression blowing out.
Hmmm don't know about the Vents. :dunno_black:

meh...tried again a moment ago...made sure the intake tracts were tight, and went ahead and snugged the exhaust and all up, and nowhere near as much smoke. I'll just flog her a bit tomorrow and see how she runs.  I think it was just residual oil.

Let her warm up fully today and damn me if she doesn't run nice.  No smoke.  Now all I got to do is get a clutch in her...
