i did an hpi check a few weeks ago before i bought my 91 and it said in 96 it had 12,000 and seemingly in 2003 it had 919,000 miles, i think that the dvla have made a big  mistake lol think it was supposed to be 19 so my 91 is at about 25,000

I was feeling like a virgin for a second there until I saw jrains89's post. I still feel like I'm a little behind but oh well. 2001 with 6300 miles. 500 are mine.

I'm pretty embarrassed after seeing all these high mileage bikes... I guess I've spent more time working on mine than riding it.

6,473...

2,000 are mine since the spring of 2007

Thanks to everyone who replied so far! I now have data for 29 GSTwinner's bikes. More data would be extremely helpful, but here are some stats on what I've collected so far

Average mileage reported was 23912.28929 with a standard deviation of 25595.45932 (thank you GSJack), which is a really good indication that more samples are needed...

Average age of bike reported was 9.535714286 with a standard deviation of 5.827661642.

Average number of miles ridden per year was 3057.720263 with a standard deviation of 2769.413293.

Thanks again for everyone who posted data. The standard deviations show that this data is pretty much all over the place at this point, but hopefully if more people participate, things will start settling down and we'll get a better picture of what an "average" GSTwins bike looks like...

Happiness is a perfectly-revving engine, a cool, windless night, a stretch of empty highway......and the knowledge that the highway patrol is understaffed in your region.

had i known you were calculating standard deviation/propagation of error, i would have given an exact mileage.
