i have a bunch more pics to load but im goin to wait for the tank to be done and painted so i can show you the before and after pics in the same post.  its already sanded down and first round of filler applied.  it should be sanded and painted yet this weekend.  I think im working harder on this bike for her then i did on my own bike.

well i was going to get them done this weekend but then we bought the wifes bit so they are goin to wait a week or two.  Too cold to ride here still anyways....lol

Cool project!  Did it have full fairings?

originally it did and when i find them it will again but at the moment we are missing all but 2 peices.  i have been searching and hope to find them all.  i was going to buy a different tank but the one i found was in worse shape then this one so im working on getting it ready to paint right now.  it will be in primer sometime tomorrow and painted this weekend.  i just ordered a set of forks, tail light and rear plastic that goes under seat and around the tail light.  those parts should be here mid next week

Tank is done and ready for primer.  Well it will be ready for primer as soon as the wife gets the rest of the sanding on the original paint done.

Looking good man!  What color scheme are you thinking about?

the wife wants black with pink graphics on it polished wheels will be done on this bike to match my bike with black centers instead of the blue i did on mine.

I just looked for it at my usual CL stops and couldn't find it. Must have sold, there are two others though. Not that sweet color though.

that first one is really nice.  the other one isnt to bad either tho.
