I was in need of 2 of these recently. Picked them up for $12 ea. from bikebandit.com:

I take it back, looks like you're looking for the whole cover. They have those on that site too, I think they're like $35 or so.

Alright, i guess i should explain better. At this point i have two motorcycles without covers. One bike is running and one bike isn't. I don't care what condition the covers are in as long as they more or less do the job that they were intended to do, protect the signal generator. If it's scratched to hell, i'll take it. If it's been shot by the police and fragmented into several dozen pieces but since been super glued back together, i'll take it. Get my point? I don't want the brand new shiny one, i want the old one that you couldn't stand to look at anymore and replaced with a brand new shiny one. Hope this helps...

Usually, they are replaced when they get broken into lots of little pieces. (Superglue not included) I suspect you'll have a tough time finding one "gently used", except maybe off a parted engine.

Best make or buy a set of case guards for your GS's, if you don't have them already. It is possible to damage the crankshaft if you whack it on the right side hard enough.

I appreciate the help you are trying to offer Average but your off base once again. The quoted information you listed is for the outside Suzuki emblem and not the actual hard cover that i'm in need of. Mortuar stats that in the very next post. And the estimated cost of $35 (plus shipping) or so he has posted in that post i consider to be accurate for a new cover and i do not want to spend it. I prefer a free/damaged one instead.

I want a new motor too, as long as it's free. I think suzuki is charging too much money for a new motor and I don't want to spend it. There's nothing wrong with mine. Anybody have one for me?

Anyway I have an extra one of these covers sitting in front of me. I'll give it to you and even pay shipping...On one condition. You give something to someone else. What do you have to offer?

I think I got mine from dgyver http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?action=profile;u=843 ... He used to have a few. There is another model that fits the GS500 as well. If you ask him nicely maybee he still has 1 or 2 for sale ?

I may have the broken one from my project bike... If I can find it ill post a pic.
