Ninja 650R baby, however that thing is soi sheittily made ... weld splatter and gaps and un painted openings and what not every where in its frame, it will turn into a rust bucket in no time.
Dealers here have a bunch of 07's they're trying to move for 5K, problem is, there are also used ones people trying to sell for 5K. More than 5k matter of fact.
Anyway better than that gladius IMHO, but its saying little, SV650 is better than both. Better quality all around.
Cool.

not even close to a squid and if it was a quid talking it would be "wtf do you want that little womans bike for get a 1000 or your a kitty cat"

i was just trying to figure out why someone would spend 4000 on a new smaller bike when you could buy a used bike like a sv650 or something along those lines for same price if not a bit cheaper.

I've always thought that was a sharp looking bike. One of my buddies got one last fall, but I've yet to see it in person.

Yeah, they are pretty pricey being so new and all. Give 'em a couple years and you should be able to pick a used one up fairly cheap. Perfect timing for jserio

i almost bought one back in november. she was so beautiful. blue. i sat on her in the showroom, man, it just felt so right you know? i did the credit dance and got approved. lady called me at work next day and said i could pick up my bike that night, i was stoked! until i walked past the bulletin board at lunch time. management had posted a letter saying, "due to the economical crisis, we are evaluating our staffing requirements." with that in mind, i decided not to burden myself with another loan. as much as it pained me, it was the right choice because in january, they lay-off monster called me into the office.

but, i firmly believe everything happens for a reason.

Ya know, there is prolly several distress sales comming. The same econimic BS has bitten and Idiots who didn;t excercise the prudence you did are going to be getting rid of it.
Now of course there will be several that just get repoed, make their way back to the dealers and get put on the floors for near about MSRP.
Of course a few of the dealers will fail in every area and that will create a flood in the ones that are left standing. Then the fun begins.

BTW the other thing that could happen, is like in Iceland, range rovers are catching on fire, nearly 1 in 3 of them are going up in smoke. Surprisingly in the rest of the world and in US its much much lower, like 1 in 100 million or so. As in, like none cos range rovers prolly only 10 of them sell every year.

So I wonder which way ninja 250's go. Do they burn good ?
Cool.

My Goodness do you know how hard it is to live right behind a Kawi dealership. New PURTTY bikes every day I ride out no scratches or broken mirrors. I sat on one of those the other day. Go in everyother weeks to talk with the guys. If I ever got cross country tourer it would be a Victory. Man that is a very nice lookin bike!

there isn't a bike dealer for about a 45 minute drive from here. the wife is glad there aren't any closer, or i'd be there more often.   ;)   the sales people know me pretty much by name now.  :icon_mrgreen:

Three motorcycle shops within a five minute radius how bad is that! An addiction very hard to keep under control lol! If you ever need a new pic of a honda, suzuki, yamaha, kawasaki, polaris, victory.  The BMW dealer is twenty and Harley about 15.

And I ended up with a GS with all those choices!

I'd rock one because I'd never have to shut off for a corner!

That, and I'd have the trickest 250, with those rotors and that frame; totally worth the $4k.  Plus, what I'd save on tires...and gas...and insurance...
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
