i need a black front rim, iit can have the brake or not my rim was smashed when i got it and will not pass insp, i live in upstate ny, not looking to spend to much its for my 04 minty gs  thanks guys, let me know what you have, oh as well i need a rear brake rotor .. thanks guys

next time go to a car shop instead of a bike shop for inspections in NY, they usually dont care.

smashed rim is a safty issue and should be fixed not takin to a auto shop so they will pass your inspection.  i wuldnt want my front rim to come apart while riding down the road.

Oh...a safety issue... on a motorcycle, thanks for the education.

I think the OP is smart enough to replace the rim, i wasnt suggesting he avoid it.

XNCNC, your post did come across as saying that an auto shop will pass you regardless of the condition of the front rim.  I thought the same thing josh posted he just beat me to it.

Got a rear brake rotor from a 2001.  You could have it for $20.00 + shipping.

I gave him a tip to avoid future hassles with inspections.. In NYC alot of bike shops will use the inspection to try and make a sale on work/parts.
