"We have a really nice new table.  It moves on it's own power - just move the tabletop."

Man that looks great and much respect to the amount of beer cans in your recycle bin
Attack but have a back up plan

joshr08

it took that much beer to get the bike to the point its at now.  wait to see the pill when the bike is completed.

can the Vapor unit be used on this bike? if so how does the speedo and tach hook up i need a new speedo and would like to go digital, but I'm not sure if one of those would work :dunno_white:

The collection of what looks like beer cans on the table makes me like the bike even more. Great job

so i got the  bike all put back together put gas in it checked the oil level and tried to fire it up. but no good it tried to cache  once and then nothing, so i looked at the pit chicken and it was off i thought thats easy turn it on and fuel started to drip out of the carb does this mean my floats are out of whack? it came from the hole in the venturie (sp) what should i do? oh and here's some better pic's

fred

Yeah, check your float heights. You'll probably find they're off... Use the clear tubing method to check, it is a more accurate test...

jetboy287

if they are off how do you adjust them? is it in the wiki ?

lawman

First, did you put new gas in it?
Second, did you clean the carbs at all?
Third, you adjust the floats by bending the metal tab.

I ask all this because there is NO WAY that bike will start without major carb cleaning, and I bet money you have a rusty tank, and I KNOW any gas in there is bad.

jetboy287

I cleaned the tank with ETOH and Ball bearings, new gas, cleaned the carb's but not vary well apparently, new fuel lines, new pet chicken, and thanks again for all yall's help
