I love old funk and jazz. I really love most types of music, but music that gets real repetitive, real fast starts to annoy me. Like A LOT of  techno (sorry if it's actually electronica, or ambient, or house, or trance i can't really tell the difference) I usually prefer music that is created using real instruments. I'm not sayign a synth isn't an instrument but when used too much it becomes a bad thing to me. I really like Daft Punk and BT's "This Binary Universe" so i don't dislike all of that type of music. I love rock, indie, progressive, rap, hiphop, classical. One of my favorite bands is Explosions In The Sky, just for reference. But old funk and soul has always been close to me, i am a percussionist and love the piano so it just fit perfectly.

This has been my random commentary on my musical tastes.

...gotta admit I'd've appreciated that far more as an instrumental.  ...just another opinion.  ...and you know what they say about opinions....
