Vinyl can be painted - easy, mask what you dont want in one color and spray the molecubond paint in your color choice. then spray the masked area in the other color ...

Having said that, I have a gorgeous blue and silver (really really eye popping silver) that was just upholstered, the corbin basket weave pattern is a POS collets water in the welts, cracks easy and leaves welts on your ass - and yes it matches my blue and silver bike ...

I can put up pics if you want ... but seriously I'd want some real money - atleast 200 and your stock seat and shipping for it.

I have a near all original gel seat in black ... again 200 + stock seat and shipping.
Cool.

I found this is true...the water logged Corbin seat, not the ass welts.  That's why I got another stock seat to use when it looks like bad weather.  But painting a vinyl seat was easy.  I don't know if a dark to light color would work, but if you bought one and went black you should have no issues painting it.

This is what I would do, the gel seat looks very nice and I've heard it's comfortable.

Molecubond paint turned a black seat into pearl white in 3 mins flat. It actually does not paint it, it sorta infiltrates it and in a way it replenishes the drying effect of weather ... it makes it a new seat in the new color. Like Armorall, on crack.

do you have any pics of the Molecubond-painted seat Buddha?  I need to repair a small tear in my Gel seat and have been looking for something to protect it from the elements.

Hope you find that Corbin seat Danny500.

Thread-jacking aside...

Still looking... Don't care about water-logging... but if you're seriously thinking of anything near 200 bucks then you're SOL...

New Corbin seats go for 300 bucks... if I wanted to touch that, I'd pay it...

Looking for something good that someone's sick of... $100-175 tops (before shipping).

It wont fix a tear ... You need a recover. The good news is, there is a 100 types if vinyl available that is 1000 times better than the factory. Bad news is, it'll costa ya couple 100. You better cover it before water gets in and makes it a mess.
