Anybody have any experiance with bohn Armor. Specifically these

http://www.bohnarmor.com/catalog/proddetail.php?prod=BGLA

They seem to have great padding but I was curious anout its abrasion resistence. Also anyone know of anyother similar products from other brands for comparison shopping. I'm not real sure what to call them when searching and searching for "motorcycle pants" and its derivitives obviously doesn't find similar products

My hubby has the Bohn shorts for dirt, but they're not terribly comfortable.  He's currently looking for alternatives.  I have TPro (http://www.forcefieldbodyarmour.co.uk/) body armor for street and an Alpinestars Bionic pressure suit for dirt; I recently tried on the TPro pants and will probably be getting them (http://www.motostrano.com/tpfopropa1.html).  I wear the armor under whatever I'm wearing to protect from abrasion; it's not meant to do both.

Ya I didn't think they were but there website makes comparsions to the Kevlar jeans such as "draggin' jeans" and talks about wearing them under regular jeans so I wasn't sure.

Yes, I have those - worn them about 5 times in the year since bought ... well made product as described on their website but imo overpriced for what you really get, ie lycra tights with pockets for foam padding ('armor', lol) ...

I intended to use my bohn armor under leather overpants, but it's just too much trouble, uncomfortable, and I'm skeptical the armor would stay in place during a serious fall/slide.  And wouldn't the lycra melt from friction ? ?  ?

Still, you'd be glad to have it if you did go down, i guess.

I have these. The lycra is good and bad in my opinion. It flexes good with movement, but I worry about the pads staying in place should I go down. But light and comfortable for me.
