Had my bike stolen, then found and repaired only for five days late to have some stupid car driver run in to the back of me at a set of traffic lights.
Thankfully no injuries, boot took the brunt of the slide, and bike parts and boot badly scratched. At leGoast she seems to ride straight so just cosmetic damage. Will be trawling the net for parts now. Hopefully we can come to an arrangement to avoid getting the insurance companies involved.

What a bummer

Sounds like something that would happen to me no seriously!

I would strongly recommend getting the insurance involved. In the next couple of days the no injuries may turn out to be issues esp ankles and such! Just my advice but sitting at redlights you really need to be aware of what is going on behind you and be prepared to get the krap out of their. Always, have an out set up so this kind of thing does not happen!

Thanks Mary for your good avise.

Her insurance co has contacted me and is arranging a loan bike whilst mine is being repaired. Hope they don,t write her off lots of bent and scratched parts. Even on ebay all the repalcemnet parts came to £650.
