Just barely missed it!

I was running late to work, so it is just a crummy cellphone picture... I almost got all 8's. I was so close, but it was rush hour and I couldn't pull over right away...



For those who always ask, compression is about 135 in both cylinders and there isn't any significant oil burn, so I expect to roll the odometer over on this engine without any major trouble.

right on... you trip sure wasn't that long ;)  3.7  it must have taken you a while to get to 88888 on those small trips  O0

It is a '94, the frame says manufactured in '93 and the title says first sold in '96, so apparently it spent the first 3 years of its life sitting at some dealership. Original engine, I know because in California the engine number appears on the title. Original paint and stuff too. It could look better, but it runs well.

I reset the trip every time I get gas, so I had a full tank of gas yesterday when I took the picture...
