There are some very good and well meaning folks on this site that would have chastised you if the photo was of you on your motorcycle while wearing a full suit of medieval armor. Probably would have claimed that it had insufficient puncture strength or something. While I condone the full use of safety gear, only you can determine your risk tolerance.

Personally, I wear a crapload of gear when I ride because that pavement is moving awfully fast beneath me and the roads are full of idiot drivers...but...if I decide to go out one day wearing only a pair of swim trunks and a pith helmet no amount of self appointed nannies would change my mind.

For the record, I look awesome in a pith helmet...

Mary when you get this jacket, the postwhore council here at gstwin demands a pic of you modeling it, ( a respectful pic i say  :thumb: ), NOW everyone here, there IS more fundage available, i will audit my paypal, and create a thread or let those who donated what is left, , and lad audit what you have so we can figure out EXACTLY what is left. i do want to ocme forward and apologise for jumping the gun, and getting that jacket, pulling an obama and bypassing the vote, i do offer my sincerest apologies. i will say that will NOT happen again. i will ofer this explanation. i know how fast newenough inventory moves, and i saw how she was drooling over that jacket. so i said, Hmmmm, get it. so i did :oops:. SO that beign said. i am stepping forward and statign from this point forward everyhitng within hte fund WILL be voted upon. NOW i wil  self pay ( above and beyond teh fund balance) and get marys poem put on print. 2x3ft maybe larger if i have ht cash on hand. poem was titled " plant your seed" that wil go with teh pendant ive been meaning to send :thumb:

How is the jacket coming? USPS, Fed Ex, or UPS! Hopefully, USPS because we have nice lockable boxes and it should make it before work tomorrow. If it is UPS that dude is a jerk and comes three hours after he puts on the not. Last time ad to drive down to Trade Port an hour away to pick it up because he was never there when he said he would!

You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to this!
