I had my bike knocked over and it fell on its left side (gear lever). Since then it has a kinda 'resonance' sound as the bike gets into the 4-5k rev band. You can actually feel the vibration through the bike. If you hold at a set rev (say 4k) then it fades in and out. Anyone got an idea as to the fault, it didn't do this before it was knocked over :(

How about a damage report?  Fairing smashed?  Pulse generator and/or clutch cover smashed?  Gear change lever bent?  Gear change shaft bent or pushed in?  How bad is it?
V&H pipes, K&N drop-in, seat by KnoPlace.com, 17/39 sprockets, matching grips, fenderectomy, short signals, new mirrors - 10 scariest words: "I'm here from the government and I'm here to help!"

No visable damage to the engine (other then some scuffing), frame, gear changer, have the naked version so no fairing. Overall the only casuality was the clutch lever which ended up being broken and bent and some scuffing on the handlebar grips. I can't see any cracks or anything on the engine casing or the frame. Other then this resonance the bike runs fine.

loosen your rear tank bolts, pull up the tank, re-seat the rubber doo-hickey at the front, then bolt the rear down again.

(i'll bet the tank just shifted, and now it sounds like BUZZY BEES at that rpm raing)
