Just wondering if anyone has tried using an idle adjuster assymbly from another bike (most probably an older suzuki 600 + probably from the 92-98 era...  to relocate the idle adjustment screw to a more accessible possition, Im kinda tired of burning the crap out of my hand when making adjustments.

Kat rear wheel
Carbon Fiber Exhaust Can, possibly shortened and relocated
And so on......

Good thought! With an aftermarket fairing it's a PITA to adjust the idle or even check the oil level. You have to either remove the fairing or remove the screws on one side and snake you hand in there.

Im thinking a 93-98 gsxr idle adjustment assymbly screw, But cant justify the 35-40 bucks to TRY it out. Anybody out there have one they can swap over to try.

Crazy question? Why are you messing with the idle screw so often to begin with? I set mine one time?

I adjust mine every time I Ride, I don't ride often so she sits for a bit. my idle will also hang or rise slowly once in awhile not everyone's bike is perect

Hmmm, I am wondering is that a normal thing or is it bike dependent? My bike has sat for long periods of time in the past but never experienced this phenomenon?

Every bike is different as far as the carbs go. if your stuff is bone stock than your good to go. when I did a rejet I may have installed the wrong size o-ring under the diaphram cap

Its not that I do it so often but the three or four times I did, after brake in, rejet, changes here and there, advance plate.... Your only supposed to change the idle after its completely warmed up, and I have BIG hands so all you little tiny guys out there can come and do it for me if your askin why... BECAUSE I BURN THE SH1TE OUT OF MYSELF EVERYTIME.... Thats why.... And Im in extensive Mod mode right now.... That answer any questions. Oh and by the way I wear a size 14 ring... just for your imagination.....

No. 16 is the part I'm looking for, I'm thinking since its carborated and Suzuki, just about any carbed zuk should fit but not 100% sure, and cant afford the $36 plus shipping to find out, ebay has none that Ive found, short of buying the entire carb set....

I C well I wear a size 10 ring and can reach anything I need to but then again I don't need to  :thumb:

I adjust my idle while riding, meaning I'm wearing my gloves to do it.
But that's beside the point. looks like the remote adjuster would work perfectly. I don't imagine suzuki to be creative when it comes to these sort of parts, and make each one with different threads and diameters and adjustment ranges. dollars to doughnuts if you can figure out which end of the drill to hold you can install that puppy on your bike. Try your loca bike wreckers for this part.

With some minimal fiddling a kat 600 one could fit.
It is a wee bit long ... meant for a 4 cyl ... so its going to need a carburetor 0 to fit to ...
Cool.
