I used to watch it all the time.   Not much time for it now.   Alton Brown is my favorite...kinda like Mr. Wizard.

He's a true biker too, with mucho miles on a 01 beemer if I recall.
Wifey loves him, hates Rachel Ray, but not for the reasons foodies hate her, she hates her cos she's a freaking liar. 1/2 hour ... my ass, 3 hour minimum without the magic of television and the 40 minions doing her bidding.

Some of this crap I dont even know why its on TV. But the whole food network is fine ... though I think it reflects upon us as a decadent society.
