problems after jetting

hey whats up, changed the plugs starts up and idles. have to feather throttle to keep it alive at times. has horrible accelation, lugs  and no power have yet to pull plugs for condition.  died onmr 3 times on way home from work.  found out i didn't have vacuum connected to petcock on frame. have yet take on follow up test drive. also it is very slow to get back down to idle once it is revved up doesn't back down immediatly.  this is becomming a pain to deal with. i think it is running to rich. have 20\60\147.5 w\ 2 washers.

Not sure about the others, but my bike is doing this at the moment. Does yours do it all the time, or only when you're moving? mine goes back to idle if the bike is sitting still, but when I'm coasting to a stop sign in first gear with the clutch in the revs will stay at around 3k rpm until I stop. I think in my case the clutch lever is adjusted to tight, and even with the lever pulled all the way in the back wheel is still spinning the clutch just slightly, and that's making the rpms not go down. Not sure if that helps at all. Your situation might be different.

what are you running as far as pipe and air filter for your bike with that jetting combination?  The vaccuum connection might have been part of your problem i would try it locally with it reconnected and see what changes.

The hovering idle, if its not air leak or cable hanging or valves hanging open - it is a lean condition.
You open the mix screws 1/2 turn out till it doesn't do that.

found the problem i opened up the top of the carbs and one of those black pieces that the spring sits on was crooked it wasn't installed correctly. put it back together right and everything is the way it was before the rejet, just now with more power.  Thanks for the kit buddah love the new sound too.
