Bike pulling to left

   I ride a GS500 2007.  Whenever I take my wife on the bike for a ride, it seems that the rear tire keeps pulling the bike to the left.  So, I have to offset my steering technique to compensate for it.  Any guesses?  The tire pressures are already more than a few pounds than adequate.

You may have answered your question there... What do you mean "more than a few pounds adequate" You shouldnt have more than required.

Is your wife leaning with you? "Being a proper passenger"  Is this durring braking or forward at all speeds?

Are your tires balanced? Are your tires worn or something? Have you dropped your bike?

I had this problem once.  I told her to quit looking over my shoulder.  It went away.

+1  If it's only happening when she's on the back...  My hubby sometimes screws with me by steering the bike opposite to the way I want to go by leaning.

Don't forget that you should inflate your tires more at the least if carrying a passenger - ideally, you should also crank up the preload a bit.

haha, that is clearly your wife. My last bike was having the same problem, and it's the very reason we even have a GS right now. I told her I couldn't take it anymore and just made her ride with me on her own bike. My bike also had this obnoxious problem where any time I let off the gas or hit the brake, something would smack into the back of my helmet, I couldn't figure that one out.

Funny you should mention that... years ago (decades actually - sshhhh) when I was first a pillion, I vividly recall something hitting the front of my helmet every time I turned my head left or right (not leaning left or right just looking left or right) while accelerating and changing gears. Never could figure that one out

Would you also get a crushing pain in your testicles when letting off the gas or hitting the brake?  Maybe it's a medical problem.
