Has anyone used a 98 - 01 R6 Slip On for their GS?

Wiki says to cut about 2" past the 2 in 1. I called Delkevic and the diameter of the inlet on the link pipe is 2". Just after the 2 in 1 on our bike is 1.75" but just past that it's 2".

Me knowing NOTHING about exhausts, where would I cut? Just after the 2 in 1 and slide the link pipe over the cut and then clamp it, or cut it down the pipe a little more where it's 2"...?

I've got one on mine. Took some tweaking to get it to fit. But is looks great and was cheap.

No sorry. Mine's an FMF. As far as where to cut, you pretty much just have to wait till you get your pipe and see what will work best.

I cut them at the flare where it goes into the muffler, and I make a shallow cut there by removing just the muffler and most of the flare part.
Then you have 2 inches of the header under that muffler that you now expose. That can be used to slide somehting on and clamp it. The welds work like a stopper if needed. If it gets in the way, cut more and remove more and slide in closer.
The 2 inches form the 2 into 1 sounds like a mod for a flange - which was something that was needed for a slip on fit on a bolt on muffler. These are slip on, not bolt on, so not needed. So cut @ the flare.
