I just picked up this rear cowl and I'm trying it on. I found instructions on how to install it online. I'll post pictures when I'm finished.

The paint isn't fully dry yet, so I haven't screwed it on to the seat, but here are some teaser pics. :)

looks easier than a tail swap from another bike and cleaner where it meets the tanks!

I was looking at the aitech tail myself - but as far as i could tell its only fastened at the front of the seat?
I didn't get a reply from them, so i went for another option, i'm still curious though...

Yep. I had to drill holes on the bottom of the seat and used rivets to insert the screw. The piece is pretty firm since it hugs the seat pretty tight and the seat locks,.

So, It sits on top of your stock seat or do you gotta chop it up?

Yes it fits over the stock seat.
This also means its really easy taking the whole backend apart - just remove the seat as normal and its all gone.
