Hi from England like the site.I`ve posted new pic to the gallery of my Gs500 (89) which i`ve fitted with a Squire PV1 Sidecar. It has a KZ1100 rear shock to beef up the rear end and an R1 titanium race can.

That looks awesome. My dog would love a sidecar! It would also be cool for winter when roads might be a little slippery.

That's awesome, but you lose the best part of owning a motorcycle -- EASY PARKING! Now you might as well drive a compact cage.
However, when it snowed here in Seattle last winter I saw a motorcycle out in it with a sidecar.
So now you can carry 3 people. huh?

Hi Bluesmudge, reason for fitting sidecar to Gs was that i wanted to take my g`friend and her son to Wales,500 mile trip in 10 days.i`ve been biking for 19 years without cage licence. The outfit is still lots of fun to ride (lightwieght chair). Its free to park in council car parks in UK with bike even with chair fitted. The only downside to the outfit is wearing tyres out quickly and not being able to get square cut ones in 17`s.

what size rim do you need for a square tar?

old school GSXR 750(84-87) had a 4x 18.....the 88 GSXR1100 had a 3 spoke 4x 18.....buddah might have my old rim....

fzr 400/600 had3spoke 4x18

i cant think of a 16" rim for ya
sorry
want Iain's money to support my butt in kens shop

Hi Sledge,i sprayed clocks metalic silver (thought it looked ok on later models).
Thanks Werase 643 tips on Fzr & early Gsxr rims could well help me if i go for a tubed square tyre.
To,TT Four, looking forward to riding it in winter. An advantage to the Gs is it doesn`t have much chrome to worry about when the roads are salted.Steering in the wet is fun we have plenty of small roundabouts (spinneys) here and it tends to slide well if rode at a fair pace.
Drincruz, anythings poss` if you have a good welder, grinder and a few fittings to play with.(took me a day to fit sidecar with old fittings off another bike and the help of my dad who did his fair share of riding outfits).

Haha, if someone doesn't know what a roundabout is, calling it a spinney isn't going to help them.

You can also do that thing now where you make a sharp left hand turn and pop up onto 2 wheels and ride it out.
