If anyone round the Notts/Derbs area get offered parts or owt from a black 99 reg GS, gis a pm if you don't mind. Bloody got nicked this morning.

sorry to hear that.  There has been a big surge in the amount of bikes stolen in the last couple years as car security gets better and better.  More crooks are now turning to make a dollar on stolen bikes as they have little to no security systems.

I don't have any experience with that particular alarm but I don't see "adjustable shock sensor" in the description.  I have bought cheap alarms with varying degrees of success.  I ended up removing the alarm on my SV because it's shock sensor was way too sensitive and was not adjustable.  It would go off if a fly landed on the bike.

Decided to have this one http://www.motorbikealarm.co.uk/node/47. Didn't bother with all the extras as no good at wiring so went for the basic sensor mode with two connections to battery. Good alarm :thumb:
