Throttle lag. Vacuum problem?

So I got my '93 running, but it lags off idle.
Idles fine, but when I give it more than just a touch of gas, it sputters and lags.

More recently, it starts and runs as mentioned, but once it gets warmed up, it revs up to around 5k rpm when it's not under load (clutch or neutral).
The throttle isn't sticking, so I'm thinking it's some vacuum issue.
It didn't use to do this, so I'm at a bit of a loss.

Help?

Yeah, check for vacuum leak.  Then stuck choke, then idle adjust as well as cable routing.

I was dealing with a simliar issue. Mine ended up being a carb issue, but testing for a vac leak by spraying with WD40 on the carb while at idle should show you if there are any leaks.  the idle will pop if there is. Once you do find and fix the leak. I want to stress that when setting the idle make sure it is well warmed up. What I thought was warmed was not, and it ended up screwing up my idle. I was the idiot sitting at a light at  idle of 4-4500 rpms like I was about to race....

It's always the stupid things.
The nut on the throttle cable got loose, so I just tightened it back up.
Still lags a little though.
