Problem Solved! Two hoses were the wrong way round. Easy mistake. Blue was supposed to be where red was and visa versa.

It was all a learning experience. Thanks for the help Slips.  :thumb:

Huh?  :dunno_black:

Getting a new rear tyre on it today. Was down to the wear indicators. Hopefully Saturday won't be wet so I can scrub it in.

mister

Still can't get over your wear and the temps you get in those tyres and those clip ons are awesome
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Yeh, I want to at this point. I'm totally digging it at the moment.

I as surprised when I saw the tyres too and I'm not even hanging off the bike.  :dunno_black: Shoulda done the springs ages ago.

Mate glad you sorted it! That hose routing is way more complicated than my little 450... one vacuum port, one fuel line to a T joining the carbs, two overflow hoses for the float bowls, and that's it...

The Kat guys are getting all antsy and excited about the weekend so we're all systems go for Saturday.

Y'all that are meeting have a PM incoming with my mobile in case there are any dramas.

Twisted, have you decided on Rocklea or Rathdowney yet?

As for weather, the predictions are slightly on the improve so I suspect at worse we might get a shower or two on the day.

Mister, what time are we meeting at Maccas?
I am not interested in anything you have to say
Don't bother talking to me, I will not answer you

peteGS

Only a couple of days to go... very keen to get rollin'!

The weather has been looking a bit iffy but so far it looks like Saturday will either be a chance of a shower or maybe a shower or two, so I think we'll be right for those who aren't keen on riding in the wet.

So far it looks like everyone's sorted for rain or shine, and the one Harley rider who'll be in attendance is fashioning up a  cover for his big exposed to the elements air filter just in case...

He may not be alone, I have a mate that may come on his Harley (or I may take it if he doesnt come). He has to confirm his work hours first though.

Me too. I did my back on Monday at work and have had 2 days off. A massive ride like that wont be good. I'll gladly meet up with you guys at Fernvale and do Glorious leg though.

Cool... although the guy on the Harley won't be coming now. He's in Gympie and things are looking a little dire where he is so he's going to be making sure he has a house still instead.

Bugger again! That's no good, doing your back in sucks balls...

Sounds good on the Fernvale meet up, will have to work out what time we think we'll be there. If all else fails you can PM me your mobile and I'll let you know when we're leaving Boonah or something.

Fingers crossed the weather cooperates too. I'll be riding rain or shine but it's always more fun when it's dry...

No worries Cods, there will be other rides I am sure  :thumb:

Twisted, at this stage probably Urbenville... although it's looking like there'll be just myself, one guy on a Kat, and AussieChick continuing from Casino and back, so that may change on the day.

I can certainly give you a SMS or call when we know what's happening if you like, I'm pretty flexible.

If for some reason it ends  up being just me (looking a little likely given the weather) then I probably won't really stop for lunch at all, just grab a pie or something if I'm hungry and keep rolling...

Yeah the guys have been checking the local road reports etc. and it looks like there's two sections where there's lights and one lane with 30kph zones but that's about it.

Weather's looking pretty average but should be ok I reckon.
