Wrong again. More mis information, like teh 2 weeks you keep harping about when you agreed after that was settled to refund, and then again agreed to a lower amount in august.
And,
People can tell when you edit stuff, it says so on the bottom. It doesn't say what exactly was changed but its plenty to say its been altered.

Josh, I understand probably way more about hospital bills and issues from out of the blue. But, if I do owe someone (and if I'm not mistaken you've said that over in the parts area) I try to pay them back.  Granted it may be $5 at a time it's something but just coming out right and saying I'm not paying well that's not right no matter what.

And I'd like to point out, I literally 1/2 ed the amount he was going to send cos I found forks in my area and that was 100 bucks. To top it off, I did it when I was unemployed and later I got turned down for unemployment due to some things my ex-employer did. 3 weeks ago I went to a temporary job which also is likely to end soon, by this month I believe, and I wont get unemployment from this either cos this is 1099. I have a 6 yr old on a lot of medications and he has autism.
I'd take unemployment with a pregnant wife over this ... and its entirely irrelevant. Not like joshr08 is all that is suffering.

Sorry you agreed in may to a full refund for return of the pieces. The 2 weeks etc was all covered before that.

Then in august you agreed to a refund of 100, 1/2 of the original cost because I bought other forks locally. Again well after your 2 weeks. 3 months after.

Waiting 2 weeks is irrelevant you agreed to it all after .

No sense calling me a liar or anything else. I dont go around telling people things I have no intention of following up with.

The way I see it and he pretty much confirmed it.
He was anyway going to never pay me back. His constant "you waited 2 weeks before saying it was bad" is proof of that. The 2 options I had was to let him carry on, and its has been almost 6 months and maybe he would sell or buy more stuff and maybe stiff more people with his going broke story. OR I call him on it, and he does not get to do that any more.

I just chose the latter. Seriously If I was taking people's money and sending them garbage wont every one else want to know.

Yea I constantly am late on things, am forgetful and careless, and what not. However I dont stiff people intentionally. Which really may be my only virtue, cos god knows I BS about everything else.

BTW in 3 of the 5 forums I am an active member and sell and post stuff in these is a big row involving some of the active posters, and yea its ugly, however it is also very useful.

On XS650 forums there is 2 in fact in volving paul/Bob Bertaut and 2-3 people who tried to buy motor parts form them. There is also one with Thomas Racing.

On suzukisavage.com there is a couple people looking for Mikestrikes - who has taken $ for stuff and disappeared. Both of those guys and Mikestrikes are old timers on that forum.

It happens all the time, and I dont think keeping it private or quiet helps the forum.

I know your post was directed at joshr08 but I am just posting my side. This actually happened here too early this year between pronator and spectroff where proud to say, I stirred up the poop when spectroff posted for sale stuff.
