By memory custom made by the owner, may have started life as car exhausts, but I maybe wrong :thumb:

That bike belongs to someone on here, can't remember who at the moment. It retains the standard H-pipe but is two separate pipes past that. He says it sounds awesome, I would like to hear it myself. Has the yoshimura logo on the pipe, so there's a start.

Try dropping down to 4 Oreos and set your pilot screw 3 turns out.

jserio

wouldn't the exhaust being in that location affect the rear tire? (heat)

It's not like the pipe is right up on it, but it can't hurt to have a little warmer rear tire  ;)

Yep, and Yep.

Gregvhen and FatBoy, PM him.  He posted something not too long ago about cutting the subframe.

Yeah, seamax. I always admired his bike, it's one of my favorites. Here is his video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlRLBw2JqeQ

I know he definately did not make those cans, whoever said that. Someone said ATV maybe.  the reason i ask on here is cause i rarely check my email (if its even working, it has problems alot) so id not likely get an answer within the next 3 months.  :technical:

gregvhen

ahhhh theyre some kind of yoshis!

Bluesmudge

Yup seamax. I know he said they are aftermarket ATV mufflers. He changes his settup a lot. Those fairings are an old model of the mmotos that get talked about a lot but never purchased. He got some sort of awesome deal with the manufacturer if I remember correctly. He likes anodized red and long walks on the beach.

seamax

LOL!!! You guys are freaks!!! :cookoo:

Winter in Iowa is not that bad because it is sunny. I finally put her down for the winter and going to start some tail surgery.

The mufflers are atv carbon fiber mufflers with red hose clamps as tips and yoshi stickers on them. All I did was chopped the stock muffler after the H-bend, staighten out the dual pipes and had a muffler shop weld on the mufflers.

Do a seacrch for 'black is beautiful' and I think there are 2 threads on my amateur build.

That bike is INTENSE! that fairing is way better than my f model fairing. I know they cost over $1000. coolest 500 ive seen (next to mine of course  :thumb: )

Thanks. I lied and took her out today to go to work. It's not sunny and 45 degrees but the streets are dry. I love the feeling of riding the bike after a few week(s) of non-riding. Everything feels so new but not it's hard to describe.

Well I think I'll postpone the tail mod 'till it actually snows here. Will start selling stuff to get some $$$ ready for the new tail mod.

ahhhh, I love that feeling, after too long, and too cold winter when I first get on my bike. No words to describe the feeling. I feel like I'm floating above the pavement, awesome...
