Cool post and great pictures!  That sucks about the rear tire but at least you didn't have trouble locating a new one.  Hope to ride out there one day.

That was awesome. I never knew you could do trips like that on a busa. Now I kinda want one to do a cross country trip LOL. All of the busas out here are all bling and only get ridden to bike night!

Thanks! ya the busa is awesome for touring, I am about to buy a buell xb9r or a gsxr 1000 here soon and do my touring on that, me and my friend plan to do another run either to mexico or prudhoe bay here in the next couple months!

What an awesome trip!  I'm 52 and I have been taking trips with my dad and slightly younger brother for the last three years.  We've been on some 2,000 mile trips but NOTHING like that.  What a marathon!

Like Keytime said, it takes a set to ride a 'busa up there.  Car & Driver took a Corvette up to Prudhoe once.  Pansies.
