Is there someone here in Belgium that can point me to a place where I could find parts used or new for the GS?

Finding motorcycle stuff here less expensive than in Iceland, I might as well use the oppurtinity and stock up on stuff to take with me.

I was up in Belgium a couple of days ago, redistributing the European beer mountain, or is it lake? Its less than a half-hour from Calais and as you will have discovered you can get to France, NL, Lux or Germany very quickly. There always seem to be lots of bikers around the Oostend, Bruges, Zeebrugge area so Oostende is well worth a look,it's a fair size city. If you don't find bike bits you'll find everything else! If you are going to trawl around on the net don't forget the neighboring countries, with the common currency comparison is no longer a calculation.

Yes indeed! I've worked there from time to time but that's a post for an altogether different forum, back on track there are plenty of bike outlets
around Oostende.

Thanks for all the info.  I wil definetly look into getting parts from the neighboring countries.  Unfortunetly my studies seem to be cutting heavily into my traveling schedule here, but who needs education when you can find a bike instead...
