I bought another suit, only to find it has this George guys name in it Pretty sure he's one o them eye tal yuns.

Man do these things feel great.  I'm dying waiting for it to come back from the tailor.
If you're in the market, Saks off 5th is THE place to get a suit right now.  I snagged that for $500 with the alterations.......................on a retail $2k suit

I'm thrifty where it counts.  The family business in on-iine sales has been holding up relatively well through the recession and I make a few extra bucks here and there bouncing and going out on the 'shadier' runs with an old guy that does repos in the area.  I'm actually thinking about getting my PSO license to pick up a few extra bucks.  With all the execs that have homes here, there's a decent demand for personal security.
Seriously though, I'm always on the hunt for a bargain.

Yup, it's an Armani Collezioni, non-Saks exclusive.  There's nothing quite like a properly fitted Italian garment.  I've been LOVING the 3 button sport coat I bought which made it all the easier to pull the trigger on this (the price helped too)

Heading down to the hat store in the morning after class.  Hopefully, I'll get my suit back from the tailor tomorrow too and wear it out to the jazz club. 
I hit a jackpot today.  Browsing through a pawn shop, a watch caught my eye.  Shopkeep told me it was a fake Rolex.  I take a look, water stays beaded on the surface 'glass', smooth second hand movement and and a barely discernable etched coronet at the 6 mark.  Nope, thatun aint fake. He tells me that it's fake because it doesn't have the hologram on the back, because surely no one would ever pull a sticker off their watch    He tells me he paid 200 for it, I offer 400, drive about 4 miles to a jeweler and he offers me 800 for it on the spot.  That was an easy 400 bucks

On the other hand, the Testoni shoes I ordered won't be here until Thursday and I have to figure out which direction to go with pocket squares.  Need to pick some up for the sport coat anyway

On another bright note, threw on the sport coat, an untucked Robert Graham shirt and a pair of jeans last night, woke up this morning to a CUTE little thing named Svetlana.  Kid laughed at me because I took the time to hang my jacket over a chair last night  

At this point, I feel obligated to paraphrase my idol:  I just want to spend some quality time with a swingin redhead (or russian) broad in a double hammock.........now if I  could just find a dam double hammock

Just ordered a variety of prefolded pocket squares, ranging from a conservative 4 point cream colored to some pretty interesting folds and colors..

The shows showed up today and they're GORGEOUS!!!!!

Of course, with an $800 msrp, they should be. (I paid 1/4 that)

They're a bit of a cross between a loafer and a dress shoe, a slip on dress shoe..........

For now, I just took a benadryl and I've got a little bit o' Scotch left, then it's off to dreamland
