Stock 04' gs500 chain

Hey, I have been trying to find the masterlink on the stock 04' gs500 chain, I am starting to think there isn't one, was just wondering if you guys know if there is or not, and what model of chain it actually is?

i cut mine off. i dont think there is a clip style master link, i think there is a rivited one though.

Their is no clip on the stock chain.  It either has to be cut off or you have to remove the entire swingarm to get it off.  If you are replacing it though cutting it off would be the best way to go.

As for what model i believe it is a 520 110 link chain.

You can use a bicycle chain link remover.  The stock chain is a continuous chain, it is not rivited, nor does it have a master link.  110 links.  Forgot the size.

Stock chain is continuous (no master link). Size 520, Length 110.

when I replaced mine, I used a grinder to remove one side of a link, then used half the master link to pull the new chain around the front sprocket.  saved some time from removing the sprocket cover.
