Replacing Fork Seals

I'm going to be replacing my fork seals pretty soon and am wondering if there is a "How-To" written up anywhere specific to the GS.  I've got the manual and I've done a search on this site, but thought I might combine ALL of my resources before "ripping" the forks apart...

Oh yeah - I'll most likely need to replace the oil, fork seals, the dust seals, and some o-ring, right?  Maybe I should look over the manual before I start asking questions.

Thanks.

Get new dust seals, fork seals, and oil. There's no o-ring that I know of.

Quick and dirty:
pull forks off bike
use 8mm allen socket on the bottom bolt (look up through where the axle bolt would go)
put a break style bar on the bolt and whack counter clockwise several times
this should loosen it enough to take out
drain majority of oil into suitable container
use 3/8" drive extension to take off top cap
drain rest of oil and remove spring
use small screwdriver to remove dust seal
use small screwdriver to remove clip above oil seal (c shaped with several notches you can pry through)
decompress shock and pull out fast
do this several times to knock out the oil seal
reinsert inner fork tube
push new oil seal down over shaft
use pvc pipe, paint roller, or other similar sized item to drive the oil seal back down (be carefull not to damage the seal surface)
replace clip
install new dust seal
replace spring and cap
install top cap
reinstall lower bolt again whacking the breaker bar with a hammer when fully threaded to tighten down bolt
fill with new oil (~359ml??)
replace top cap
install back on bike

Hope that helps
