Yup the glass armonica. Really cool looking instrument. Only a handful of people in the world can play it anymore.

I'm also a frequenter of the Good Will. Here in Winter Park we have what is called the Good Will Boutique. Everything pretty much still has the tags on it. Tommy Hillfiger, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Nine West, Gap, and many other name brands. Less then $10 a shirt.

I picked up a dozen Memphis Milano ties for $1 each at a thrift once.  Kept 2, sold the other 10 for $80 each and donated half the profit back to the thrift (animal shelter)

Actually, I think vodka can be attributed to many of their greatest achievements.  Think about it, 'hmmmm, some french punk is gonna try to fight us, let's get hammered, burn everything to the ground and laugh while his army freezes to death!'

TJ is my freaking hero.  I've got the Adams (John and Abigail)-Jefferson letters on my nightstand.  They were both great men.  In ideology, I'm very close to Jefferson, though my execution favors the gruff manner of Adams.  It's odd to think that those two friends were on opposite ends of the political spectrum in their day and yet now would be grouped together and labelled extremists.

In musical news, I think I'm gonna pick up a Bach Strad trumpet from a local shop used.  It's pretty cheap, a gorgeous instrument and it'll give me something new to learn.

Ironic how him and Adams both died on the same day. I don't know if it's true or not but some of Adams last words were something to the tense of "Jefferson still lives" He didn't know Jefferson died earlier that day. And on 7-4 to boot.

There's a lot of doubt as to whether either of them died on 7/4.  During that period of history, faking things by a few days wouldn't have been that hard.  The country was having some hard times at that period and the idea of two of their founders passing not only on the same day, but on the 50th anniversary of the DoI would have done a lot to temporarily lift spirits.  Think, 'Yup, this sure is God's country'
Have you seen the HBO/Tom Hanks mini-series on Adams?  It's pretty historically accurate (Hanks really tries for that in all of the stuff he does) and the guy that plays Franklin will have you busting out laughing all the time.

i had found via frostwire a few pieces played on the armonica. that sound and classical music to me are 2 of the best things in life. when i had sold my computer i was able to keep hte hard drive that has my music, videos and such on it. so i wont have to find them again closest thing to an armonica i have is 12 leaded crystal glasses i can play on. ( were my grandmothers )
