Slickdeals is one of my "other" fave websites.   Take a look around, there are lots of good deals (and a few crappy deals).   If you are looking for deals on tools, they usually have a few Craftsman tool deals on any given day:

That link should take you right to the TOOLS area of Slickdeals.   I know the GSTwin crowd has lots of do-it-yourselfers.   :cheers:

My roomie is going to MMI and he gets 60% off Snapon tools. Now if I just had money LOL!
