Im wanting to go with a jarden exhaust and K%N lunch box.  The only thing is im worry about the rain getting in.  Has any one had a problem with water getting in from the lunch box?  Also who got the best price on the jarden exhaust?  thanks

i have a jardine and K&N lunchbox and never even thought to worry about water getting in.  The only way i could see water getting or atleast enough to do any damage would be if you were dump the entire bike in a body of water at which point you would have bigger problems than worrying about water getting in through the air filter.

I got my jardine system from Pipecity:  http://www.pipecity.com/Search/CategorySearch.cfm/_1/Street/IP/1_4_0_0/_2/Suzuki/_3/GS500/ManuID/14

when i bought mine over a year ago they had the best price that i found.  Haven't looked around lately to see if anyone has a better price but i think from general discussion on this board it is going to be about that price wherever you get it.

Rain isn't a problem.  I rode about 10 miles in the worst section of rain depicted in this post: http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=52541.msg593632#msg593632

I do still have the inner fender.

Thanks for the info.  It looks like pipe city is a winner too

how much is pipecity after tax and shipping? maybe you can still check out extremesupply.com and email them. ask them how much they can get it to you for and see if they'll beat the competitor's price
