Hi all, does anyone know where the screw or wire for the idle adjuster is on a suzuki gs500 (1991)? I managed to adjust it a bit using the screw at the top, near the accelerator, but would like to do it properly using the screw that should be somewhere near the carb?? im pleased for any help. thanks

Tickover adjuster underneath carbs hangs between the float bowls, screw anti clockwise to increase revs.

well, anti clockwise if you're looking at it from above, screwing towards yourself.  Screwing it in (clockwise) will increase the revs.

The idle adjustment screw is in between the carbs, its a single large black plastic screw that can be turned by hand. If you set your idle by tightening the throttle cable, you will need to loosen it
