My wife just won a trip to a fancy resort in CA.   Palo(s?) Verde Peninsula, or something like that.
On the coast, near LA.  Don't wanna look at pictures (lest I spoil the surprise), but she said something about cliffs and a beach.  

It's crossed my mind to ride all the way there from NC, I have to admit.  
Gotta wait until October.  But, I'm pretty stoked.  

In other news - I blew my airhorn at a bum on the corner during a red light.  Thought he'd haggle me for cash, without a window to roll up.  Scared the sign out of his hand.

Naw, cliffs and beach sounds awesome.  I've got the beach right outside, but cliffs are a bit of a hike to find.

Seems like an extravagance at first, $40 for a stupid horn. 
Pays for itself, the first time you sneak up real close behind a hooker. 
If you get one, we can start a new urban sport.  First one to cause pissed pants wins?
