Help with screen needed for a GS500E

I got my daughter a late GS500E, as it was one of the bikes that fitted her best and she felt comfortable with, but now she's done a few miles on it, she hates the constant wind blast and wants a screen to divert as much as possible around her.

Can anyone tell me the options please ?  Regret I know little about the bike, other than it seems full of character.  Do people with the "F" faired option take the fairing off and try to get rid of it ?  Does the screen on this work well ?  She may go for a faired bike, but she's really got attached to this one now, as we all do..

Thanks,

Nick

that could be something youre looking for. if not, there are aftermarket fairings that you can check out here at the gstwin wiki

Hey I bought the F-16 SPORT SHIELD and I love it; really gives it a nice look. I found one on ebay, but this site sells them too.

If you want pictures let me know and I can post them later.

Hi,
I have an American Cycle F-15 shield, which is wider and taller without being huge.
It gives great protection.
I've had it for a couple years and like it very much.
The F-16 is way too small if you want real wind protection.
Here is the F-15:

Good luck,

Thanks guys,

That was quick ! - The National Cycle company caught my eye as I have their V-Stream on my FJR, which is quite big, but protects you well in torrential rain, as I discovered coming up through Spain and France to the UK.

I have had a look at all the suggestions - The F15 Tour seems a possibility - Is anyone wanting to sell theirs ?

I should have said we are in the UK, but I have got parts from the USA in the past and usually carriage is not too bad - prefer any UK available stuff as likely to be quicker / less postage.

Thanks again,

Nick
