Lane splitting and filtering is perfectly legal in the UK for now. Solid lines are the only no no...

However, with the cost of fuel @ £1.13 [$1.79US - $1.82AUS] /litre and the average wage at £489[$774.00US - $787.00AUS] /week before tax, more people are turning to x2 wheels as a mode of transport. Although I don't think there will be a major rush anytime soon, it won't be long before the change the law to make lane splitting illegal.

My bike wouldn't start  

I managed to eventually bump start it and take it to the dealer. In the mean time they have loaned me a Yamaha MT03

I finally finished the naked conversion of my '04 GS500F. I still need to wire up the indicators in the mirrors, but it's finally done. If my fairings don't sell, I might hack them up to make a belly pan.

I did get my mirrors from ebay. The stock turn signals are only on until I get some bullet connectors for the mirror's wiring. Sellers include gold3288gold, T Motorsports, and the2wheels. If you're in a hurry to get them, don't buy from the2wheels, as it took a month for my set to arrive.
