Installed LSL adjustable brake and clutch levers on Trey. Now waiting for more to do the other bikes. These are stock. No modifications required. Just not available in the USA so I got them direct from LSL in Germany.

How much did those run you? I broke the tip off my clutch lever last week, so I am looking for new ones.

Just did a oil change to full synthetic. Have to see if it improves my performance at all.

Got some goodies in the mail today, rear katana shock and progressive springs!

Going to get some SS brake lines next, along with a fresh oil change.  Oil looked good when I got it and still looks decent, but I might as well do it while I'm wrenching.  New fluid for the brakes!

Not what I did to Flick but some Jerk wad did to Flick! I got sick on Monday and had to leave him in the parking lot of a doctor's office. Some nice person broke off his left rear turn signal :icon_exclaim: GRRRRR! I don't need this right now!
2004 F, Fenderectomy, barends, gsxr-pegs, pro grip gel covers, 15th JT sprocket, stock decals gone, custom chain guard,GSXR integrated mirrors, flush mount signals, 150 rear tire, white rims, rebuilt top end, V&H Exhaust, Custom heel and chain guard (Adidasguy)

Got two new spare keys cut, so I won't have to spend 2 days looking for the damn thing again.
I like a non-sequitur as much as the next Giraffe.

Painted but it got messed up (paint wouldn't stick on some of the plastics so they'll require a re-do)

I installed a new ignition switch assembly as some Jack Ass destroyed it trying to steal the bike over the winter.

I'm giving Suzi, Trey and Junior a bigger, more comfy place to live.

The wide opening is a 5' wide door that will let us roll bikes through the garage to the patio for washing a beers.
Will have 220v so we can weld and powder coat!
100% LED lighting to save on  electricity. 4' LED tubes are really brighter than standard 40 watt tubes, too, and use only 17 watts. No flickering when it is cold - LEDs come right on even in freezing weather.

I gave my bike an oil change and you gave it a house!

+1 on the man cave.

Reached the point of   "Gee, we should have just torn it down and started over".
The old roof on the west side (far side) is rotted away. So......  re-sheet the old roof and new shingles.
Those other man caves make me do things in my pants you can't say here (since I found the profanity filter even filters "y o u r   m o m" ......to "I love YOU")
Oh, well. Might as well bite the bullet and have them fix everything. Too late to start over since the new part is almost finished.
More photos when finished next week.
Guess this is the problem working on a 1930's garage that has twice been modified by prior owners.......

No- those newer looking boards were a patch sometime in the early 80's before I bought the house. Covered with 2 old layers of roofing and all those boards were wet. Did I say 2 layers of roofing? I meant 2 layers of antique filter sponge. :dunno_white:

^^ that sucks :(
LOVE the color of the red Suzuki tho

Finally got the last thing done with the maintenance of my new purchase.
New air filter.

Surprised as heck how easy it is to take things off.
As long as I dont break what I try to change or fix... falling in Love with working on this motorcycle.

Very damp out tho and I got eaten Alive!

(edit)
those still bright boards are from the 80's??!!! Geez!
how old are the rest? the 20s? hahaha

From last night not really today. Picked the bike up from a service, tune, chain change and a new rear tyre. Hopefully this one will not get as many punctures. The bike shop he is no longer carrying the sports demon tyre as his customers are getting to many punctures with the crappy roads around here. No other tyre he stocks is having that problem. Got a 140 wide over the 130 now.

Took the bike to training, dislocated my knee and then road very painfully and slowly home. Stupid knee still can't walk today. I probably should get it operated on but knee surgery is so barbaric.

They were under 2 or more layers of crappy roofing. You can see a bit of it pulled back on the right edge of the picture. So someone did a half - arse job in the 80's of repairing the roof. The contractor is going to re-do the entire roof. And I think the other boards are really from the 20's maybe the 30's. There are no city records to know when the center part of the house was built because this was not part of the city at the turn of the century. I did find a 1909 calendar plugging up an old brick chimney hole in the ceiling of the kitchen in the house. With a house so old and with at least 6 different stages of modifications, there is nothing square or straight in the entire house.

My motto is "Whatever I do, at least leave it better than before I started".

Junior got his ASV brake lever and stock clutch lever removed and replaced with a new set of LSL adjustable levers. Sweet!

Gave Trey new steering column bearings. Now he rides and steers just fine.

I just spent an hour cleaning the chain with kerosene, then lubing it back up. It was pretty nasty, but now I think I need to adjust it. It seems loose to me.

I will get my buddy to help, as I have no clue how tight it should be.

I also just ordered HEL stainless brake lines and front EBC HH pads.

BTW, latex gloves are useless if you are cleaning with kerosene, they fell apart in about 10min.

Gave her a bath; 400km in the rain makes for a dirty girl...
Cleaned/lubed/tightened the chain, rode around the neighbourhood, and changed the oil and filter :thumb:

Got a call from a buddy with a 2011 696, and we went for a 150km ride through the Alberta foothills.

We made it halfway through our original route, when the road turned from pavement to mud. An American couple was parked in their Jeep TJ at the edge of the mud saying we'd better turn back as there was a bear about 100 meters ahead.
Needless to say, we got the heck out of there and headed home.

Tomorrow paintball, and next weekend, a nice mountain trip with some fellow riders!

ragecage23

just got an LED super bright white light for the running light in the front. I'm hoping it's bright enough to be my low beams (I don't really leave my town) and then my HIDs will be the high beams. Before and after pictures to come of course!
