Finally gave him a bath...washed all the bugs and dirt off from my tire killing ride... :icon_mrgreen:

Hopefully the tires show up this week so that I can get them mounted and balanced (gonna try doing it all myself...I'll take pics and video...if it goes well, I'll post it...if not, I'll take it to a shop and pay to get it done right)

Later.

took a break from the parts bike and got my Fox racing shock installed on the 04. sits nicely and doesn't feel like it needs a rebuild, but only time will tell

since i have the tank and airbox off the bike i'm going to go ahead and clean/rejet carbs. also planning on pulling the forks to work on my seized header bolts
if yer binders ain't squeakin, you ain't tweakin!

Ive finally completed my project today pics are up in the project section. Ive been having running problems but the bike solved it all itself this morining but its still going into the shop to see whats causing it to do this. Over the weekend I put new o rings in the carbs and checked and cleaned them all up yet again. And today I put a meter over my coils and HT leads. End result bike goes like a shower of shaZam! now (aka very fast).
:woohoo:
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

(yesterday) I replaced suzi's frame fuel tap with a honda crf250x one. Took about 4 hours, between changing the tap, replacing fuel lines and having to drain the tank..

as an FYI: Most of us on this board have given our bikes a name. I have SUZI, Junior and Trey. We all work hard at having our own unique name. I hope you aren't calling your bike Suzi.  :nono:

I gave my carb's a thorough bath in WD. I think she's mad at me right now. :dunno_black:

In the world of naming suzukis... i think the least original you can get is suzi... I considered naming my bike suzi... then my fiance said no names, and that I already loved it enough without one...

I adjusted the valves (had to order shims 3 times ...long story....lotsa dammits) and the air screws. She finally purrs. But, I still call her Dammit.

Could be Canadian? Where the "K"means kilometers and not thousands.

Dropped the fuel from my tank and fuel bowls to get rid of the crap my last fuel stop gave me.

I picked up a new headlamp bulb.  Hopefully that goes in tomorrow and the suspension gets worked on this weekend.

I guess I should text the new owner and see how the bike is working for them?

Realized my rear tire was toast when I got to work. Ordered a new one through the shop(Pirelli Angel ST.) Rode home and eventually did a very juvenile burn-out on video. Lol, couldn't help it.
