Anyone setting up a SERIOUS home security system?

I've got 5 Pelco EH8104-1 cameras that I could be talked into parting with....
These things run 550 new, I'll take 200 each and skip my happy a55 to the bank,  I've got 15 in the lot

I have a two prong home security system...

Prong # 1:



Professionally attack trained.

Prong # 2:



Also professionally attacked trained. Contacted by the Police Dog Squad about them having the dog for their squad.

Neither dog is territorial with other dogs, as trained. So dogs cannot be placed in the yard as a distraction. Neither will eat food off the ground that has been thrown into the yard - only from their bowls.

Come home one night. Guy on the front porch. He cannot move. If he tries to come down, dogs stop him. If he moves, they bark him up. So there he stays. Bailed up until I come home and call the dogs off him.

One time a council worker just came right into the yard. By-passed the Dog Warning sign and trounced right on in. I heard a bulk load of dog noise and got up in time to see him backpedaling out the yard trying to use a clipboard as a shield. I went out to speak to him and he was a nervous wreck and apologized for what he'd done.

Better than a camera. But dang... they can eat... and shaZam!.

this the camera or the enclosure? might want to clarify. the number calls it an enclosure. FOR a camera, does a camera come with it? or?

Yeah, the camera is included.  It's just a basic camera, the one typically sold with the enclosure.  I don't know the model number and I don't have the dry nitrogen to purge one if I pop it open to find out.

Ehh no biggie. i had just googled teh model number and it called it an enclosure. compatible with those branded cameras

Most surveillance retailers sell the combo under that model number.  It's a he!! of a setup for someone, I'm pretty sure the HOA would $h!t if I mounted these outside!!

No, I was only in the condo for a few months.  It was a short term rental.  I'm in a house now,  it's 3rd row from the beach in a gated plantation

Though, I am thinking of moving.  It's a bit more space than I need and the landlord has really fallen down on basic maint. (I think he's having $$ issues like everyone else)

Im toying with teh idea of moving to a home near derby line VT in about 8 mos that straddles teh US/CAN border. will be relocating near err about an hour from charlotte in about 2.5 mos or so. found a good deal on a home there. to rent short term. and a bitchin deal on teh VT home. but wont be avail. until sometime into the new year
