Well I live in Canberra, and in all likelihood I'll be buying a GS500 tomorrow. So if the Canberra region hasn't been done yet I'd be happy to take it for a tour.

bathurst mite be a bit far for me. Uni 5 days a week and working in weekends. could squeeze a syd to canb mish in tho

Canberra to Bathurst and back in a day would be a bit much for me. I've only just started riding and it'd be the best part of eight hours. Don't think I should try concentrating for that long just yet. If anyone can get it within a couple of hours of Canberra I'm happy to take it for all sorts of adventures.

I'm in Sydney, and usually try to keep Sundays free for riding. I could ride to bathurst and back on a sunday, that's no problem, but then where do we take it?

Yeah I could do that on a weekend. Ride out through the mountains on a saturday and get the baton, then a royal national park run on sunday down through Stanwell to Wollongong. I'll look at the weekend of the 26th/27th, time off work and clutch plates permitting.
