Took the left crankcase cover off to replace the magneto gasket only to discover my stator rotor's epoxy was shattered on two magnets, which I can only assume lead to the knocking noise I've been hearing (goats syndrome???).  Sounds like I need to purchase a stator rotor if anyone has one.  Am I correct on this assumption or is the broken epoxy not a big deal?

My magnets look exactly like this guys:

Okay, here's the deal. I have one in perfectly good working condition.

However. The threads in the center, the 14x1.5 threads that are there so you can remove the rotor and starter clutch from the crankshaft are kind of knackered up. Mind you, these threads are not used when the bike is assembled, the bolt runs by them into the smaller threads in the end of the crankshaft. The removal threads could be easily repaired with a 14x1.5 tap, but that's the ONE size we don't have in the shop at work. I couldn't even use the slide hammer technique, i used a press for both the starter clutches i took off.

So take it for what you will. If you want it send me a decent offer and you can have it for a pretty good deal. Then just scrounge up a 14x1.5 tap to save yourself some trouble if you ever have to remove this one, and carry on.  ;)  PM me if you're interested.
