this is right before my friend and I left HotShots by 44 and 270 (if you konw the St. Louis area) with about 1/3 of the group to meet the rest of the riders downtown.  this is also where the stunt show and various comps took place later that day

Where did it take place? I've been wanting to go to something like this ever since I started riding.

It's in St Louis. I'm in Kansas City and a bunch of guys I know go out there every year.

Be warned - if you go, you WILL be hassled by the cops if you stop for them. ROC shuts down the highways every year and the cops will hate on just about every sportbike once that happens.

When they have a crowd of 900 bikes, when everyone stops, traffic COMPLETELY stops, and no one has anywhere to go. It can be fun but it is SQUIDLY and I won't participate.

actually the cops arent too bad. not very many cops give anyone trouble cause they know theres no point.  I saw one cop try to pull over someone doing a spreader and the rider never pulled over so the cop just got off the nearest exit. (he prolly took down the license plate info will get the guy that way) but they only give you trouble if youre wheeling or burning out right in front of them. otherwise they know theyre not gonna catch most of these bikes, and theres just way too many people to be able to pick one guy out the crowd for riding one wheel.   I rode right next to (not behind) a guy on a cbr and watched him wheelie about 10 miles straight, put it down for slower traffic and back up again all the way to the downtown area which was about another 10 miles or so. no cop trouble at all

Damn, still too far away for me. I'm looking for something further West haha. It sounds like a load of fun though.
