1995 Crank Oil Seal Orientation?

Installing a new Crank Oil Seal into the Clutch Side Cover, and though I took pictures, I forgot to actually take a pic of it installed prior to removal, and the pics I did take, I didn't put notations on them so.....

Anyways without going out to the garage to actually test fit it, which way does this seal go into the side cover, flat side of the seal towards the motor? Or flat side of seal facing outwards?

Opps, couldnt help myself, went out to the garage and installed the new seal, flat side out, seal driven down until seated....Looks right, is it?....

The spring loaded lip should face the oil.
