Well it's a start, a meager start....Gonna be building a Hard Tailed Sportster based Bar Hopper on the cheap, a mix mash of HD components...

Here is were it all will start, Swap Meet Rat wanted $125 for the set, ended up paying $60.00....

What are those things molded into the shape of the forks? Are those for the fender mounts?? Pretty bulky if that's what they are. Either way, That's a really well shaped bike, I think I'd definitely enjoy it for getting around town.

Yes, on those "Wide Glide HD Legs" those are the Fender mounts, but there very easy to shave off with a angle grinder.....

Yes, I will be looking for a complete, running but beat Sportster...Then I will order from Kansas Kustoms a 4" extended, weld on Hard Tail rear frame section.

The reason I like this bike and build, is that it uses many HD parts from other bikes, usually "Take Off" parts that the Chromeaholics remove when they start adding "Bling" to tier steeds, so the parts required are cheap and available.

The only thing I'd have to add to that bike are some fenders. With the rigid tail and those giant springs on the seat, I can picture myself hitting a pothole and getting trampolined right onto that rear tire. I'd definitely try to keep those things covered haha.
