I need a new chain, rear and front sprocket. What combination do you think looks the best. My options are..

red chain, black rear sprocket and red sprocket nuts
red chain, red rear sprocket, red sprocket nuts
all black, etc you get the point

Hmm, I'm thinking all red would go well. Well, again maybe a black chain see if it disappears in with the rest of the bike :dunno_white:

Isn't the front sprocket covered? so, that wouldn't matter right?

Yup front sprocket is cover so wouldn't matter. All red would seem a little overboard?? I think red chain, black sprocket, red nuts.  :dunno_black:

Def go with red nuts (this is so gonna be quoted) guess it is better than blue balls. The red sprocket would pop more to me than the chain. Your call as always on an already gorgeous bike!

Agree - Unless you JUST cleaned it the chain & sprocket will be dirty (black) anyway so why go red?

I haven't noticed one spec of dirt on that bike in any of the pictures he's posted  :thumb:.

black sprocket with red nuts, (let the gear get dirty, but make sure you clean those nuts really good)

You know I hate giving input on this bike! Always looks perfect. But here ya go... If your not going to add a red disc to the front to balance it out then I'd shy away from a big red sprocket. It's already a sharp bike. I'd stay with the nuts and chain and keep a black sprocket.

GI_JO_NATHAN

Yeah I was gonna say red sprocket and paint the centers of all the brake rotors red to compliment the black wheels. But I think this bike flows pretty good without going overboard, so I'd say red chain, black sprocket, red nuts.

LOL!!

Great input on the red sprocket! I never thought about it getting dirty from maybe chain grease and dirt. That would probably need cleaning weekly. I am leaning towards red chain, red nuts, and black sprocket.  8)

Unless you are going to run a larger rear sprocket, I would not make it stand out with a bright color. All black with red nuts would be best IMO, but it also looks great as it is.

Try dropping down to 4 Oreos and set your pilot screw 3 turns out.

How about we ditch the whole Red+Black thing?

TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!

And what color(s) would you suggest?

redhenracing2

Swap the red for purple. Do it.

Well if you could only see her now. She's strip down naked and dusty. She's waiting for her extended swingarm, clipons, sprockets, and chain to to be installed. It's a sad sight but I can't do anything becuase my garage is so damn cold. That and I'm in a state of hibernation.
