Just bought a used tank, but the fella (who was from S. Dakota) neglected to tell me it was a California model tank. There's an extra hose nipple on the bottom of the tank. Can I just plug it up or will it give me trouble? Thanks.

The extra hose attachment is for the vent tube of the emissions canister, so capping it wont hurt anything.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
